Who is Lakes Area Heroes and who do they support?
Lakes Area Heros is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to supporting local law enforcement, fire, and EMS personnel and their families in times of need. LAH serves the areas of Aitkin, Cass, Crow Wing and Morrison counties. We accomplish this mission by relying largely on individuals, civic organizations and local businesses to support our programs and sustain our efforts.
Together we can continue to connect, support, and strengthen our communities.
What's our story?
Lakes Area Heroes brings the community together to support local Heroes in more ways than a pat on the back. Isaiah Moengen grew up looking up to his father John who was a dedicated first responder, paramedic, and firefighter. Isaiah wanted to figure out a way to make a difference and give back to these local heroes and recognize the sacrifice they make everyday. In 2022 Isaiah assembled a group of local individuals that shared that same passion and thus Lakes Area Heroes was established.
